Abstract

This paper provides an indepth description of the precursors of fatigue and analyzes its significance in the investigation of transport events. On this basis, the paper problematizes the role of fatigue as a factor related to accidents and incidents. Finally, it develops a framework of recommendations for the management of its associated risks.
