Abstract
After a transport accident, families are left in a state of uncertainty. Informing them about the progress of the investigation contributes to the healing and mourning process. For just over two decades, a new trend has been emerging in the transport sector: putting accident victims first and accompanying them through the various processes they must go through once the worst has happened.
The Information for Accident Victims and their Families (IVAF) aims to be the channel of communication between the JST and the families of accident victims.
