Latindex is the result of cooperation between a network of institutions that work in a coordinated manner to gather and disseminate information about serial scientific publications produced in Ibero-America.

It includes research journals, technical-professional publications, and scientific and cultural outreach journals published in Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, and Portugal. Additionally, it provides information on journals with Ibero-American content published anywhere in the world. The journals can be in print or online and cover all scientific disciplines.
