Journal sections

Each issue of RSO features articles classified into the following sections:

Research Articles: This section includes contributions submitted freely to the journal, with submissions open on an ongoing basis. The articles must address topics related to transportation safety from a technical or scientific approach, considering a systemic perspective.

Outreach Articles: This section groups works that interpret and make scientific knowledge accessible to society. This can take various formats, including interviews with key actors in the sector, opinion articles, book reviews, announcements, or notes on events related to transportation.

Cross-cutting Issues: This section disseminates articles on issues that affect transportation across its various dimensions. While these topics may not strictly fall under the label of operational safety, they are subjects of ongoing observation for all professionals and researchers in the transportation sector.

Thematic Dossier: Each issue of RSO focuses on a central theme. The choice of topic is linked to both local and international contexts. The goal of the dossier is to provide an in-depth exploration of key issues for the community of researchers, service providers, users, and transportation operators.
