The second issue of RSO was compiled following a landmark event for the development of operational safety in the Latin American region: the first international symposium on transportation safety conducted in Spanish. The articles in this issue reflect some of the key topics discussed at the event: from the opportunities and challenges of technological innovation to environmental safety and the relationship between transportation and society.
